Stella Alteaamazing for sensitive skinAugust 29, 2020I tend to get red on my cheeks, and this product manages to gently exfoliate it without any redness or tingling sensation.
weir13...Was not expecting it to be this niceJuly 31, 2020Honestly I picked this up for the heck of trying a PHA product. Not only does it not irritate my super reactive skin but it does add a nice amount of hydration while smoothing my occasional bumps. I don't have terribly troubled skin that needs a lot of exfoliation but occasionally it will get rough and develop small bumps. This helps clear them up really fast. It takes maybe 1-2 nights (so two applications) alongside my regular skincare routine. I don't use it every day because I'm still not sure if my skin can handle exfoliation every day yet, especially since I'll be testing out retinoids soon, but I imagine anyone with normal skin could easily work this in everyday as a good hydrating and clarifying toner.
SalangI LOVE ITJuly 9, 2020I love this product for my back, I feel I had less acne than before. And it isn't hard for the skin, so I think is suitable for sensitive ones. I put it in a spray and is much easier to put in my back. I recommend it a lot. Feel free to use my code MYLXX3 for an extra discount!!!!
Ruby WongEffective yet GentleApril 28, 2020As a oily skin person, suffering bumps and acne all over my face, about 2 years ago I started my journey in search of ingredients improving my skin concern. After doing some decent research, after comparing the positives and negatives of various chemical exfoliants, then choosing the one to give it a shot among products of different prices, I chose Pixi glow Tonic with 5% glycolic acid. Despite having good results from it , definitely NOT RECOMMENDING it over this! Mainly two reasons-Frangrance and Highly irritating astringent Witch Hazel water! Even if I didint experience any irritation from it, doesnt mean you wont! Especially important to newbies to chemical exfoliation where u experience a perging period ( which is normal) which can last up to 6 weeks! Definitely dont go for products with potentially irritating ingredients where u can end up not knowing whether it is skin purging or having sensitivity towards certain ingredients!
Back to why Benton PHA toner is good startup chemical exfoliation product. PHA is under the AHA category but are gentler and work slower due to its larger molecular size. if you dun know whether your skin works well with AHA, I would HIGHLY SUGGEST you go for gentler ones first. Doesnt hurt to ampt up the game until you are sure your skin doesnt ving a allergic reaction to this.
Just to mention the comparison of effects of this versus the Pixi one. As this only contains 0.5%Lacbotinic acid vs the 5% glycolic acid, acne and bumps didint come back when I switched to this ! Which means gentler PHA toner just works as well as the irritating one! How amazing is that! The brand Benton is also cruelty free and Frangrance Free-without essential oils too!
Worth a shot ! Especially to newbies who want to try chemical exfoliation but are afraid of irritation!

Zaygentle tonerApril 13, 2020gentle enough for my sensitive skin, no redness nor irritation
arbruz22I love this!March 31, 2020I don't always like to use AHA or BHA, and I was told PHA is a great alternative. As I've been using this, I have noticed similar results as if an AHA would work. I do like my chemical exfoliants in a toner, and this is a great toner. My only complaint is the pump. When I do pump the product it tends to go everywhere.
Fęlsça Airgætlàmhloved itJanuary 27, 2020I loved it, I'm a man so everytime I shave I always got ingrown hairs but after using this(for exfoliating) I didn't get any bumps in my face and it feels refreshing.
it does even work with my dry skin
ToniaChemical peeling for sensitive skinSeptember 27, 2019Because I've got quite the sensitive, dry and acne prone skin I'm always cautious when it comes to peelings. I have used BHA and AHA before and I found both a little too irritating and drying and physical peelings aren't even an option. So when I found out that Benton released a chemical peeling toner with PHA I was really excited to try it out and from the few times I have used it I can tell that it definitely does suit my skin type.
lisaIt’s goodFebruary 10, 2020This toner is good but it’s not magical! Maybe I have to use it for a longer period of time, I don’t know. My skin feels softer and more hydrated after using this that’s for sure but so far (after 4 weeks) nothing changed with my pores or breakouts.
PatLike this one!October 5, 2019Gentle and brightening. Have only used a couple of times, so let’s see if it stays effective over the long haul.
V K WintGentler than glycolic but still irritatingSeptember 27, 2020I only use this every week to 10 days, and it’s definitely gentler than glycolic, but it’s still drying and irritating. I definitely don’t get an immediate sting or redness like with glycolic, which is a huge plus, but the day after the skin near my eyes is red and puffy and sore, and my whole face is very dehydrated: I need to use it with care (my skin is very sensitive and reactive, which is why I chose a PHA rather than an AHA). I’ll finish the bottle - carefully - but won’t repurchase.
