KristenniceOctober 11, 2020I love the original lip cream and wanted to try a tinted version. It's still very moisturizing and the red color is a nice natural tone. I'm not sure I'll repurchase without a big sale though.
etangor...Nice but overpricedAugust 16, 2020I know that the DHC balm is really popular, and I like this tinted balm a lot. The color is subtle but very pretty, it feels good one the lips and moisturizes well. My only real complaint is that it’s a really small little lip balm (the bullet is tiny) and the pink plastic packaging makes me feel like it’s for kids. It just doesn’t feel worth the money.
Sammysmooth and healthy lipsFebruary 28, 2020This lip cream is like the original lip balm they're known for but with a tint, maybe it's because of the colour in it that changes the formulation of it but i actually think it applies even more smoothly than the original spf lip cream DHC released. The colour is a transparent sheen and is very good for everyday use and the barely there/no-make-up MLBB make up looks. The packaging is very solid even though its cheaper than other similar products, and it's a twist type that retracts the tube back into the packaging but it doesn't feel flimsy or loose when you twist the tube. It's small enough to store anywhere, even if you only have pant/jacket pockets and no bag, so it's very convenient. Touch ups are a bliss because of it's non-sticky, smooth transparent texture and sheen colour pay off, even if you're in a rush and apply it and go past your lip line, it's basically flawless because it just gives off a slightly fuller lip and it dries down gracefully (doesn't leave a distinct lip line like matte types). If you apply it roughly, you can smooth it out by patting it with your fingers and it comes off very natural and it spreads evenly across your lips. The only con is, it doesn't fully extend, or its fully extend form doesn't expose all of the tube of product. Which means when you get to the end, you either need to use a lip brush to use the rest of it, or the upper side of your nail to scrape it out- there's still a lot of product then, but it's such a shame because it lowers its everyday practicality when it comes to a hassle free application on the go.
