Anna LeLLOOOOVVVEEEEEEEJuly 23, 2020Omg, this is so perfect. Lightweight, with an essence texture and leaves no white cast; this sunscreen is so good and went beyond my expectations. I have acne prone skin and it hasn't broken me out and doesn't irritate my skin. If your looking for a physical sunscreen with no white cast this is your gal!

Joyce Ka Yan laugoodJune 7, 2021I repurchased this. Has a slight white cast until you blend it in. Good for moisturising but it felt drying over the winter and it does pill

Kateexcellent and affordable sunscreen creamFebruary 11, 2021lightweight sunscreen cream. I like the fact it’s a full spectrum UV ++++ cream. this is my first time to use Dr.Althea but I will definitely purchase again.
positives: good protection, full spectrum, affordable, use for face, good for freckle-prone skin. easy to spread on the skin.
negatives: quite high SPF. better for summer outdoor activities and outdoor winter sports. the -

Hristina NikolovaGood!January 10, 2021It's good, I really like it. Nice slight smell, feels hydrating even tho in an hour start to feels that dries the skin. That's why I took one star. I think it would be perfect for oily skin!

AleksandraDr. Althea - Skin Balancing UV EssenceJanuary 2, 2021A nice sunscreen with good ingredients list, gentle for sensitive skin, suits under eye area, doesn't sting. The cons are that it leaves a little bit of white cast and peels under the mask.

davidborg22...unsure of the spfMay 11, 2021from the nowcos labs who made puritos spf, I’m only using when I’m inside, as the spf is not really garunteed

Minh Tran#regretsAugust 14, 2020this sunscreen was on sale for $7 each and this this brand sells for a bit pricier usually (this product was $27 on another site) so seeing the chance, I bought two. I REGRET THAT SO MUCH. It has a really strong sunscreen smell and the texture is just a bit harsh to spread easily on your skin. I have oily skin and this sunscreen didn't help at all- also broke out my skin. Could've spent the $15-$16 on better quality

AMariePeels when applied...April 20, 2021I have a ton of experience trying sunscreens (I literally dodge uv rays lol). Despite the promising description, this one peeled for me no matter how thinly I applied it. I even tried applying it with the least amount of other products and it still started to look flaky and patchy after rubbing it in. I tried this thinking it would be the same or better as my holy grail Hyggee relief sun moisturizer, but it wasn't. If you're looking for an spf that is basically the same as gentle, blendable cream moisturizer, I'd recommend the one by Hyggee. Unless this somehow doesn't peel for you, I feel like there are many better spfs out there.

KateThick Pilling SunscreenOctober 2, 2021While I love the Dr. Althea products, especially the Azulene 147HA Intensive Soothing Cream. This was unfortunately a dud. This is a thick white paste and doesn't sink nicely in the skin. It feels more like cheap drugstore sunscreen that feels sticky and tacky on my skin. I want to like it as the packaging is so cute and it would be easy to keep in my purse for reapplication. But I ended up trying to use this up on my body as quickly as possible.

HenrietteNot sure about this one...September 23, 2021I'm quite conflicted about this SPF. It feels great on the skin and is very moisturising, however, it does have a lot of white cast. As someone who has tried a lot of SPFs, this one simply doesn't cut it for me. I really want to love it, especially because I love Dr. Althea as a brand and the packaging is gorgeous. However, I cannot get over the white cast. I have also tried to use this under foundation, but I don't think it layers well. I tried to get a photo of the white cast, but I don't think it appears as much as it does in real life. I got this a couple of months ago and I have tried again and again to use it, but every time I regret using it and now I don't even reach for it.
