Alyona.VObsessed!!January 25, 2021Recently (after 2 months of waiting!), I received my huge 245 ml bottle @drjart Dr.Jart+ Biome Essence (Price: 55,80€ on @yesstyle).
In my review 2 months ago of a mini version (50 ml) - I already shared mu love for this essence. Here is my resume, for those who missed it or who hasn’t tried it yet:
💦Claims:
- with patented probiotic-supporting (skin-friendly live bacteria and yeasts that help to balance our microbiome) Jartbiome technology
- features beneficial microbes to bolster your skin’s moisture barrier: dissuading moisture loss and signs of dehydration.
- restores balance to your skin’s microbiome
- recovers sensitive skin in distress
💦Texture: gel-type essence, slightly viscous. You don’t need much, cause it spreads easily! Absorbs quickly, I didn’t experience any stickiness (I apply it yo damp skin after my toner/mist).
💦Scent: the controversial topic lol Sone like it, some not. I do love it personally...it reminds me of a fermented natural kefir (or yogourt) mixed with yeast (probiotics+fermentation ingredients).
💦My opinion: This essence has become my number 2 essence and I really enjoy it! I have made all my friends with sensitive and oily skin buying it and they love it too 😁
It hydrates, soothes, gives that beautiful refreshing and plumping effect and “glass skin” finish (I apply it directly with my hands, maximum 2 layers). It also helps to calm down redness and irritation (oily/sensitive/reactive skin). Not the cheapest one, but IMHO it worth it! I feel my skin stronger and healthier with this essence! Recommend, if you like fermented scent.One of my faves Essences!March 27, 2021I can really affirm that this is one of the best essences for compromised, irritated and damaged skin barrier! It is really soothing, hydrating and calming! Especially, if you use Tretinoin/Hydroquinone in your routine like I do. I loooooove it! -
