Kose - Ceramiaid Skin Cream

After seeing the ingredients which were free from silicone I decided to give this a try. it's really good for those who have dry skin. I like to mix it in with my lighter moisturisers for the perfect consistency, this is definitely a staple in my skincare now.

A great alternative to Cerave healing ointment!
I have dry & sensitive skin and use tretinoin almost every night. I make sure to apply this cream around my eyes to form a barrier before my tretinoin. Hasn't caused any milia (yet).
A little goes a long way if you're only slugging around sensitive areas (eyes, nose, mouth), but you can absolutely slug with this all over your face.
It is less greasy than your plain petrolatum with added skin barrier support ingredients.
Will be buying the bigger jar one next time if this doesn't end up causing milia.

So I've been using this every evening around my eyes (no milia so far) and on slugging nights.
P.S. even though I'm super dry, I'm also somehow acne prone (🫠), but this didn't cause any breakouts.

best for chapped, dry and cracked skin. in winter i get a lot of redness from the cold on my hands and my eyelids and lips also get dry. this helps me tackle that

I use this for eczema patches and it works great. kind of like a mix of Vaseline and lanolin.

Oh my I am loving this for my final/oclusive layer night and day... It is very thick BUT you can fix that easily: mix with a little of the face and body milk from the same line! This contains my fave 'medicated' additive, the anti inflammatory licorice extract and for me it works so well both against acne and against redness/discoloration. The pack size is totally awesome and I am currently looking at abandoning Curel and Ihada and going with this as a combo of the best characteristics of those two lines. Highly recommend!

So good for really dry skin, i like to use specially in the fall/ winter as a final step when my skin needs that extra hydration step.

I feel that this cream keeps a lot of moisture. It's sticky for a while when applied, but it protects it from drying out, so I can forgive it. After a while, the stickiness will subside and you will be moisturized. I plan to buy it again, because this cream does not allow the retinol or tretinoin cream to migrate into sensitive places.

I use this round my nose. which gets dry from hayfever and colds. it's great. thick but with great extra ingredients rather than just vaseline. highly recommend!

this cream I’ve been using since I was young. very basic but hydrating and good for the family .

I bought it because I use tretinoin and this product has helped so much to tolerate tretinoin, to not peel and also my skin keeps the small hidrations it has (because my skin very dry)

I bought it because I use tretinoin and my dry skin doesn´t tolerate it very easy. It is a beautiful product that heals the skin during the night. It will not be good for oily skin for sure

This cream is a must-have if you use tretinoin. First time I used it, it was after being a bit careless and damaging my skin barrier, triggering perioral dermatitis. I applied this over the affected areas and within 2-3 days the perioral dermatitis was gone, no more irritation and no dryness. I also use it as a barrier on my nostrils (which tend to peel when I'm using tret) and over my lips, and it's been a saviour. No dryness or irritation. And finally, it's great for a little TLC in the dryer months, or if you've gone too far and your skin is a bit angry at you.

very hydrating and thick. but it doesn’t feel greasy compared to other thick moisturizers. not sure about the effects of the product just yet

good Japanese brand and I’ve heard so many great things so I’m excited to try it
