It definitely makes my skin seem less yellow and dull. i would say that you definitely need to prep and prime your skin beforehand, like making sure its exfoliated and moisturized. the product has a somewhat chalky texture and can be a little rough to blend out if i don't prep or am in a rush. but overall, i'm happy with this!
