My Scheming - Blackhead Removal Activated Carbon Mask Set

i think it kinda does something but not anything dramatic. but would use sometimes

This is my first time getting it on YesStyle but I'm probably on my 5th box across the past few years. It has worked consistently on me, but more for removing sebaceous filament/whitehead not blackhead. See photos for proof at your own risk lol

▶ Skin condition:
I have rosacea on my T-zone and due to using thick lotions to calm down sensitivity, I 'accumulate' whitehead very quickly around the nose and that 'dent' right under the middle of my bottom lip on my chin. It's super annoying because it's tempting to squeeze which will hurt my skin. Sometimes exfoliating or oil cleansing is just not enough to remove every pesky little stubborn whitehead that sticks out like a forest of toothpicks.

▶ What you get in the box:
Solution 1) Deep Pore Sebum softener: I do find this helps getting more gunk pulled out. Depending on my skin situation that day, sometimes it stings when I use it.
Solution 2) Removal Mask: The star of the show. I don't find this mask striping or stinging. I use it sparingly maybe once per 2-3 weeks.
Solution 3) Treatment Essence: I don't find this doing what it claims and it stings me every time. So I ignore it lol.

▶ Here is what I do for results:

Prep: Exfoliate your face the day before you plan to use this mask. This is to put time between removing dead skin (and thus "opening the pores") and the harsher whitehead extraction. I mix honey and brown sugar for a gentle and effective exfoliator.

Step 1. Soak thin cotton pads with solution 1 and use it as a prep mask covering target areas for 10 mins.

Step 2. Wash off solution 1. Give your target area a 'warm spa' for 10 mins. I usually pour hot water into a mug and wrap a wet towel around my nose and chin on top of the mug.

Step 3. Wet your face, and apply a THICK layer of solution 2 onto wet skin. The gel will thin as it dries and the thickness will help it grab onto gunk in your pores. It is crucial to let it dry completely before peeling. This may take up to 35-45 mins.

Step 4. When it feels extra tight, that means the inner layers of the gel mask is thoroughly dried. Peel it off from bottom to top slowly. Any remaining gel that's stuck on your face can be removed by wetting that area and gently wipe it off with toilet paper.

Step 5. Base on personal preference, you can chuck on a hydrating face mask that's been in the fridge for 15 mins. Or making your own by soaking cotton pads with toner.

I actually use this to remove facial peach fuzz lol it works great for that but it makes my eyes water something fierce when I pull it off.

This product definitely works! I have been buying these for years for me & family. They love it! :) I would usually steam my face before I apply it, it’s more effective that way in my opinion.

If you are someone with big pores that get cloged very easily, this is for you. There are several videos on youtube of how to properly apply this, so I would recommend anyone buying this to check those out first before trying (or before following the instructions on the packaging).

I was looking for something for the longest time that was strong enough to get out my blackheads and this does just that! Would recommend if your looking for a strong but reasonably priced mask.

It's work. Really can remove myblackheads and minimise my pores. Got 3 bottles with different steps.

I first tried this 2 years ago and I have been loving it since! I went to Taiwan last year and I bought a few boxes and gifted them to my siblings and they loved it too. I recommend this to everyone and you just gotta make sure you follow the steps. And remember you must use the hot towel method as it helps opening your pores for the product to get the bad stuffs in your skin! Have a great time trying that. :)))

This is the best "blackhead" mask I've ever used. In reality you're pulling out sebaceous filaments that come back with 1-2 weeks but using this twice a month is enough to keep my nose and cheek area smooth and clean.

For the best results, steam the nose area before applying the 1st step. Massage it in and rinse/wipe it off with warm water. Usually at this step I can see the sebum on the surface of my skin. Apply the mask and make sure its *extra* dry before peeling it off. I always peel up and a lot of gunk comes out - I'll spare you guys with the photos. The mask doesn't well on the chin area in my experience, but it's really good for the nose and cheeks!

This one is really great. It has lasted me forever because i don't use it that often. But yeah, def recommend this one!

I highly recommend! The product lives up to the hype!! Try leaving step 1 longer and wash it off until it has a rubbery texture. Apply a very thick layer on and leave until dry then peel off!
