I am not sure about the brightening effects that it claims, but I also understand that somethings take time. I will use this bottle up and see if is worth a third purchase. my main concern is dark spots. This is a good moisturizer, but I mainly got it for its brightening claims.

I stop using mine just for my skin to breath
