The lighter shade is great for barely there shading, middle is good for general shading and contouring, and darkest shade is amazing for really carving out contours and side face shading for my asian girls. Blends easily!

I use the two cool toned shades for shading, and will pick up some of the middle shade if I want to asd some warmth to my face. The brush is cute and The angle is perfect for contouring.
