I have skin that is prone to freckles. I used this for 3 weeks so far. i see some brightening and toning. I use it in conjunction with a vitamin c essence. So far so good, had no additional acne breakouts from adding this to my skin regime.

This serum is so good, better than vitamin C! There is no irritation, stinging, UV sensitivity or redness when using this serum. The brown marks on my cheeks does lighten without using AHA (peels) or anything strong, from just using this serum. I have sensitve skin. My complexion is bright and clear, tone evens out in certain areas of my face! There was no strong smell, fragrance or wierd smell with this serum. I have been using this serum for 2 months. It is also hydrating, absorbs quickly into the skin. I keep this serum (and any antioxidants) in a cool and dark area (no direct light exposure). I don't keep it in the fridge and use it day or night time. I don't use it daily. This serum is under rated! I highly recommend and will buy again.

I'm Southeast Asian and my skin is more like brown with some yellow undertones and red sometimes.

I started using this during the Quarantine since I won't have much of sunlight to see its effectiveness.

First of all, I don't have any motives to be that "WHITE" or even to achive a glass skin... this serum didn't whiten my skin as I was expecting it to ivet to me because of the glutathione but the fact that my skin is smoother and kind of glowing, I'd still give it a 5☆

As for the texture and smell, it has a strong smell that took me time to getvused to it and the texture is cery runny and water-like and fast absorbent.

May purchase again but not a priority as of now...

Some reviews said this smells really bad to the point they'd not repurchase it, but I don't think it's that repulsive that you wouldn't be able to handle it. It's true, it does smell and it doesn't smell delicious lol. What the smell is coming from is the glutathione, you can't escape it, that's what the ingredient smells like. Besides the smell, I really love everything about this serum. It's lightweight, non-sticky, doesn't irritate my sensitive, acne-prone skin. I've only been using it for a few weeks but I do see that is it brightening my overall complexion and it is moisturizing. For anyone that's curious, basically, glutathione is a naturally occurring antioxidant in the body. This serum is trying to take advantage of the fact that glutathione can possibly inhibit the enzymes in your body that produce melanin pigment and/or convert melanin to a lighter state. But don't be concerned or anything--this product most definitely isn't strong enough nor is it meant to make your skin visibly lighter in color. If anything, it's going to brighten your complexion and help treat/prevent discoloration from the sun and post-acne marks etc. Plus, glutathione is typically really expensive and hard to get a hold of, especially in a serum form like this and for this cheap. If you're looking for a lightweight brightening essence/serum for sensitive skin, I'd consider this one. Sometimes vitamin c serums aren't good for sensitive skin, so this is a nice alternative.

I think when I use this my skin is more glowy in the morning. I need to wait more for long term effects

I got this serum for some brightening. after a few uses my skin looks dewier, the smell does need to get used too, a little sulfurous. My sensitive skin had no adverse reaction.

Sadly, as I went to review all of my purchases, I realized that this item was left out of my package. I e-mailed Customer Service, so hopefully I'll hear back. Not much to say since I wasn't able to try it.

Didn't see any skin lightening. It was just OK. Won't buy again because it doesn't work

im prone to breakouts and i just bought my second bottle - so far it hasn't caused any breakouts and I like to think that it's working in my acne scars, but I cant be sure. It has a distinct smell but I guess its the glutathione, so I'm not worried.
