color taupe is perfect even though i have dark brown (bleached and tone down) hair. i prefer a lighter color for a softer look. the color is not too warm -

The spoolie is thin enough that excess product doesn't get everywhere. Compared with Clio mascara long and curl spoolie for size reference.
