alissa.zli24goodAugust 1, 2023Worked well with my skin type. Good for sensitive skin and great for before makeup.

TheaNo smellJune 6, 2023So lightweight and no smell at all. Really hydrating. I feel the moisturizing effect and it leaves no white cast.

jiggood sunscreenNovember 21, 2023this a good standard sunscreen, it does dry quickly on your skin and also brightens/whitens your complexion a bit, the finish is matte, and for me (probably because it dries so fast on your skin), it felt like it made my skin on the drier side at the end of the day, but some might like how it dries quicker

solnyshkoreally disappointingOctober 19, 2023So I rarely leave bad reviews but seeing as my experience was totally different from the other reviewers, who didn't go much into detail, I feel compelled to be honest about my experience.
First and foremost, there is an immediate white cast if you apply the correct amount of sunscreen. It would still probably be obvious if you were extremely pale. Despite the "sensitive skin" labeling, there is added fragrance in the form of essential oils. It has an incredibly strong lavender smell that does not fade unless washed away. When it comes to removal, it seems to have fairly strong staying power and leaves residue in the sink, so you have to really work in an oil cleanser to break it down. I don't know if there's anything good I can say about this sunscreen besides the fact that the ingredients are fairly "clean" (100% mineral filters in a silicone-base), but even then it seemed to irritate my face to the point where I developed hives :(
Additionally, this seems to be formulated in Korea for a Korean and/or Chinese market, instead of Rohto Mentholatum's home country of Japan. The tube itself is printed in English and Korean, which clearly states it's made in Korea, but the box it came in had Chinese on it, which I unfortunately did not take a picture of before tossing. I'm not sure if it makes much of a difference because it has all the cosmetic elegance of a classic, clunky American sunscreen.
At this price point especially for an AB formulation, this is particularly undesirable--I would rather spent half the money for twice the product on the American brand, Badger, for a true sensitive skin respecting "clean" sunscreen.
