I used this alone and some days even wore powder foundation/full makeup on top. Performed well, no white cast. Returning to the beach soon and am glad to have this sunscreen!

No weird whitecast, a slightly plastic smell that goes away after application. My skin is super dry because of tretinoin and so far I can get away without using moisturizer before applying this sunscreen (eliminating one skincare step in hectic morning routines). No white cast, a slight plasticky (?) smell but it goes away upon application. It has doubled as a day cream for me since it’s so moisturizing for my dry tret skin. It also hasn’t caused me any allergy or acne yet (knock on wood). This one has potential to be my HG !

EdernaMoisturisingAugust 15, 2022I like products that are efficient, I love how this has SPF and so it shortens my routine since I dont have to add sunscreen separately. A little goes a long way, and it has made my face smoother. It does leave a bit of a whitecast but once you have blended it makes your face look dewy.

SweatynomadawesomeJuly 19, 2022I love this! compared to the other Rohto sunblock tub (the blue one by Hada Labo) this is very rich feeling. it has an amazing texture and blends beautifully. best for dry skin I think, and most suitable for cooler times of year. fragrance free and quite comforting for sensitive skin.

KarenVery thick cream with "tone-up" castNovember 13, 2021This is a very thick liquid. If you apply the recommended amount, it does leave a white cast on light skin tone. I just treat it as a "tone-up" color. It does need about 10-15 minutes to fully dry down and then it is very sweat resistant. I like that this is a combination of physical and chemical filters. I have dry skin and this replaces my moisturizer in the mornings. This is good for people with dry skin who are serious about sun protection.

sweetsimpressiveOctober 26, 2021previously i have used another sun cream from Rohto line, which was amazing , but decided to get this one cos it targets mature skin, little goes long way, the texure is a little thick but goes on very smoothly, i did not see any white cast left on face, make up goes well on it, this cream gives a lovely radiant glow to the face, would recommend .

FrejaFavorite sunscreen!September 5, 2021This has been my favourite sunscreen for a few years. First of all, it's not just a sunscreen, it's also a soothing day cream. It's very gentle, rich, with an impressive anti-aging ingredients list. It has a mix of chemical & physical UV filters, doesn't have a white cast, and doesn't burn my eyes. I have no issues applying makeup on top. It's dewy, so maybe not ideal for people who want a really matte or lightweight finish. For my dry skin it's ideal. It's like a pillow for your skin. The only downside is the cheap plastic jar; a tube or squeeze bottle would have been better.

EllieWorks well.April 28, 2021This is super helpful. I got it for my sister who's not one for skin care routines, and she uses it every morning after her toner. It helps her bypass all the other steps with very similar results. I tried it too and it's super nice. It does have a bit of a white-cast, although after you blend it in it goes away quite quickly. Neither of us has wrinkles yet so I can't say whether this helps with that though, but it feels super moisturizing, so!
