my husband tried a few down perms before this one - this one was the strongest. He has really thick and straigt hair and the perm could push his hair down very well. But you should be careful while applying, as it can push the hair too down or push it down where you didn't want.

I normally have quite curly hair which makes it seem very short, however after using this product, 95% of the curls have gone and my hair no longer puffs out after washing, the hair feels a lot different after using the product. I did use a full tube as it was my first application, but i intend to use it again in future to occasionally touch up the roots of my hair. At most, i can get a bone straight look if i use straighteners on my hair, So far, I've had 2 months without having my hair change much at all. Would recommend using in a well controlled/ventilated area because the product will leave a strong smell after application/washing, this also will happen on subsequent washes if you didn't wash out all the product on your first 2 washes.

it smells much better than another down perm solution I bought. I use it for my roots because my roots are poofy so this helps tame and flatten them. it lasts for around a week for me but it’s still pretty good considering I wash my hair Everyday. do take note you can’t wash you hair for a day after the treatment!

I bought this product to use on my boyfriend to help flatten the straight hair that sticks out on the sides of his head. As expected from a perming solution, the chemical smell was quite strong, and lingered for a few days in his hair. However, the product was relatively easy to use, and we achieved great results.

The product is easy to use, easy process of shampoo, dry, apply perm, and rinse. Product does smell very strong and personally left a very subtle to no change to my hair. Although this could be different to people with thin hair, as i have thick hair.

The effects may have been too subtle for me to notice, but would still recommend as my hair is quite thick.

The smell is super intense! I’ve never used a perm product before and learned this smell is what to expect with perms. But I could only use it once and had to wash it off early because I couldn’t stand it and actually woke up my mom who was asleep and had to come check and see where the smell was coming from. Then anytime my hair got wet I’d smell the perm smell again and that lasted for weeks! I saw barely any results so I couldn’t say it was worth dealing with the smell for the result of perm downed hair.
