AnaBeautiful everyday colorDecember 11, 2024I really love this brand's matte lipsticks/tints. They are beautiful and modern, without drying my lips *at all*. And that's a tall ask during winter in the North East of the US.
This time, I got the shade "Like Gentle", which on me looks like a soft, muted, pinkish-brownish color. I say "on me" because I do think that this color can look very different depending on skin tone/undertone. Color theory for makeup is a wild thing!
For reference, I am very, very pale, with pinkish undertones and skin that tends to get red very easily. You can see how different the tone seems on my hand than on my lips - same natural light source (although a very cloudy winter day)
I am over 40 years old, so my lips obviously show aging. Nevertheless, this lipstick does not accentuate the lines, does not dry my lips out, and does not make my lips appear older than they are. I love it! -

It's not overpowering, and I feel more sexy , cool, and cute when I wear it. It doesn't dry my lips out either - so no worries there but that's my experience. I will definitely try another one of the other colors.
