lavendercattStickyJuly 19, 2025I love Bonajour, but recently they changed the formula on one of their items, so I thought I’d try this out since the ingredient list looked clean and promising for my sensitive skin. I’ve been using it for about a week now, but I can’t get over how sticky it makes my face feel after application. Other than that, I haven’t seen noticeable results yet, but I do love the power ingredients and the gentle formula. It doesn’t cause any irritation or breakouts, which is a big plus. I’m hoping the stickiness might be something I get used to, or that it lessens with layering techniques. I’ll continue using it a little longer to see if any improvements start to show.

ShayNot effective for hyperpigmentationNovember 8, 2025I have been using this 2 times a day for almost 3 months now, and I can say that this product is not effective for hyperpigmentation so far. Despite the fact that it claims to contain 5% niacinamide, 2% alpha Arbutin, 5% tranexamic acid, and unspecified amounts of glutathione, vitamin c & whitening peptides.
It does feel sticky compared to other serums I have tried, but a PRO is that this product is safe for acne prone people, I break out easily and this didn’t break me out at all. I’ll finish this bottle up because at this point it does no harm to my skin, but I wouldn’t recommend or repurchase because it’s not effective.
I shall come back to update this if I notice any positives after I finish the bottle.
