ElinaLightweight, glowy sunscreenAugust 31, 2024About me - Asian woman in my 40s. Very oily. Acne-prone (did 2 rounds of Accutane in my teens). We have dry summers where I live, but because of my skin type, I hate feeling like I have a lot of product on my skin. I am always on the hunt for lightweight products that don’t leave me shiny.
This sunscreen is the most liquidy sunscreen I have tried. It leaves a very glowy finish which, as an oily skin girl, I don’t like. However, it feels very lightweight and so to deal with the shine, I use the Beauty of Joseon sun stick over this, and the combo is perfect. I also skip moisturizer when I use this.
I have used up one bottle and will be purchasing it again.
With that said, I suspect this product is making my teenage daughter break out more. She loves how lightweight the sunscreen is but she went from having small whiteheads to having a couple of deeper cystic acne type breakouts. Not sure if it’s the sunscreen, but she has stopped using it to see if her skin gets better.
