HelenWorks well as a setting powderDecember 14, 2025I use this as a setting and shine-control setting powder rather than a primer. It is expensive but I don't need to use much so hopefully I won't finish it too quickly. It has a natural finish and doesn't leave the skin looking too flat or powdery. The shine-control and smoothing lasts the whole day on me.
I prefer using my own brush rather than the one included which is too wide and flat.
The packaging is unnecessarily fancy (especially as I don't use the brush), and the amount of powder is quite small. I would prefer if the packaging was simplified and the amount of powder was increased.
I haven't yet tried it as a primer, so can't comment if it works well underneath foundation. -

1. I just ordered a new one not to risk running out of it
2. It goes perfect under any cushion but add thin layers maybe 2 or so, it is easy to see it on the skin, make sure is uniform.
3. It makes the cushion a bit more matte but not excessive, I like this part a lot! I’m not much into dewy especially in the summer.
4. Didn’t need any fixing powder and didn’t even use a setting spray and 4 hours later it looks as perfect (I have combination skin and it is summer time) . -
DNCase feels cheapMarch 4, 2022The idea of this product really interests me as many of the sunscreens I use leave me kinda shiny and make it hard to use liquid primers. Not sure if I can really tell how well it primes my makeup, but it's good to use on oily areas of the face before liquid foundation. However, the packaging feels way too cheap for a luxury brand like Hera. The plastic casing easily picks up fingerprints and fuzz and the lightness detracts from what would otherwise be an interesting product.
