Miss Chronically FabulousGreat for dry skin & barrierNovember 18, 2025I've hit the postmenopausal phase of my life and my already dry skin is now a true desert. Because I want to use retinoids I need an excellent routine. Ceramides have been a proven ingredient with me, but I never had an Essence with human ceramides. I might never go back though! The Kisocare is a light milky lotion that is absorbed very fast into the skin and leaves it super soft, without a greasy layer. It has helped me tremendously in going from a retinol 1% to a retinaldehyde 0.1 which is about 11x stronger. It's also perfectly compatible with many other products as I have a 7-step routine. I use it not just daily but in my AM and PM! The difference is showing.
It is an ideal Essence if you use actives and/or if you have sensitive skin. I get dermatitis real fast and my skin responds perfectly to the Hitomide Ceramide Essence. Not strange with so many Ceramides but also Centella Asiatica, Tea Tree Leaf Extract and some other extracts. It obviously makes your skin barrier stronger. I can't wait to see how it'll work for me once I start my Reedle Shots!
The price/quality ratio is also perfect. 120ml for ~~ €17 is a good price, especially knowing what it contains. I accidentally ordered 2 bottles instead of 1 to try, but I'm really happy now that I did as I definitely will keep using this. I think my brain fog knew something I didn't, 😅. -

This bottle is ceramides germ! It helps to replenish the barrier. I have oily acne prone skin and after using retinoids i need something with ceramides.
Unfortunately a lot of creams, serums and even toners with ceramides also have other ingredients which doesn't suit my skin.
This is watery essence, comparing to hitomide milk ( which im also using and very fond of), I use a few layers and enjoy how better my skin gets with that. The barrier is replenished and acne is at bay.

My skin seems to love ceramide products so I thought I’d try this and I was surprised how hydrating it is. The bottle is quite generous and a little goes a long way. It seems to settle redness and makes my skin feel a lot softer. Being an essence it’s more convenient than the cream I was using too so I’m glad I tried it

Auroraso good and calming!September 8, 2025this is perfect if ur looking for an easy and foolproof way to add ceramides into ur routine! its a very nice milky essence consitency so it doesnt feel too heavy and hasnt caused me to break out! feels cooling and calming on my rosacea prone skin which is ideal! can highly recommend :)
