The texture watery rather than a traditional lotion — it feels like an essence, which makes it absorb super fast without leaving any sticky or heavy feeling. Perfect for layering in my nighttime routine!
My skin looks smoother and a bit brighter since I started using it. I also appreciate that it doesn’t irritate my skin like some stronger retinols do. If you want to introduce retinol slowly or prefer lightweight textures, this is a great option. Just keep in mind that it’s very fluid, so if you expect a thicker cream, this might surprise you.
Overall, a really nice product for the price and beginner-friendly! -
esperanza.lx...Just perfectSeptember 13, 2025There's a lot confusion when the word lotion pops up in skincare, and in Japanese beauty world, lotion is really just the equivalent of toner. So definitely don't squeeze the bottle! This retinol toner is such a rare find, as it has 6 forms of retinoids (sodium retinoyl hyaluronate, wow) and 5 kinds of hyaluronates. The moisturizing power is off the chart for a simple transparent toner. I use it together with kisocare retinol serum and cream, the combo is gently nourishing yet powerful. Good job kisocare (and yesstyle for carrying such great brand).

Agata WarwasińskaSuperAugust 5, 2025I use this body lotion as a primer for my retinol lotion. It has a watery consistency, but it's kind of like moisturizing water. It's strange, but it's nice. Again, there's no information about the expiration date or shelf life after opening the product. I don't know why Japanese companies don't provide this, but I'm taking one star off for that.
