esperanza.lx...Hydrating retinolSeptember 18, 2025I like the retinol trio (lotion, serum, cream) by kiso quite a lot, and the beauty of the serum is its superb hydrating power. Unlike other retinols, that often have some oils high on the list, kiso retinol serum is almost a clear, runny liquid. It absorbs fast and instantly makes the skin supple and plump thanks to the hyaluronates. I don't know if it qualifies as a fragrance free product as it obviously has a herbal-floral smell to it, probably due to all the plant extracts, but it doesn't bother me and goes away pretty fast. Because of all these, I think this serum is brilliant for summer months and acne-prone skin.

I have mature sensitive skin. I wanted to start on retinols but had concerns because of my skin type. This serum is gentle and non-irritating. It has a lightweight texture that can be easily combined with lotions or milks to mitigate irritation. You need only 2 drops. I only wish they had a 0.3 or 0.5 retinol, as the next level is 1.0.

Speravo che trattandosi di retinolo incapsulato potesse andare bene. Riesco a reggere fino ad una applicazione alla settimana ma a lungo andare mi sensibilizza come altri provati in passato. Mi rendo conto che il problema sia della mia pelle e non del prodotto, quindi non mi sento di penalizzarlo.
