It quite literally is a gel, it doesn't foam up but i find that it cleans my skin well without stripping or causing my skin to flake and it doesn't sting my eyes. It's great for very dry flaky skin or for those with skin irritated from retinol.

For me, it just felt like it wasn't doing much for cleansing my face but I could be wrong. It's great for it's description and intended use. I personally won't repurchase but it could be great for people who like the true gel texture.
