HelenDoesn't remove make-up wellJune 23, 2025I bought these for my 11 year old daughter so that she can easily remove sunscreen at the end of the day before rinsing with water. I chose these wipes because sunscreen needs an oil-based cleanser and the ingredients on the product detail page had similar ingredients to my usual La Roche Posay dual-phase eye make-up remover which gets everything off the skin without drying it.
However, when the wipes arrived, the listed ingredients on the packet were completely different to the ingredients on the product page at the time. I have included a photo of the packet ingredients.
I tried the wipes out on myself. The wipes unfortunately don't clean that well - they hardly lift any skin make-up let alone waterproof eye make-up. It also doesn't feel that gentle when using around the eyes so I wouldn't use it for removing eye make-up. They also leave an oily residue.
They may be ok for my daughter dissolving sunscreen at the end of the day, but I wouldn't rely on them for anything else.
Also, the wipes leaked in the package onto all the other items in my order, soaking and ruining all the product boxes, so I wouldn't recommend buying them at the same time as anything you want to give as boxed gifts! -
Anna LyHeavily scentedSeptember 4, 2024The wipes do an okay job, but they are very heavily scented with orange. I dont mind fragrance in products but this was too much for me that I had to stop using it.
