It goes on smoothly, feels comfortable on the lips, and doesn’t feel too heavy or dry. The pigmentation is great, and it lasts for a long time without needing constant touch-ups. Definitely one of my favorite lip tints and highly recommended!

EllieNext Generation lippie, Shade 02August 13, 2026The formulation of this lip tint makes me realize how bare bones basic other lip products are, at the same price point. Lips have much less melanin and should always be protected from sun. Our lips get thinner with age due to collagen loss from sun damage.
There are 2 very photostable chemical UVA and UVB —the ones that end in triazine and triazone that everyone should be using. You definitely want that long photostability in a fixing tint given its, well, fixity.
(Btw The old school Ethylhexyl Salicylate in the ingredients is NOT reef safe as claimed on the packaging.)
I counted 8 hyaluronics. One is hydrolyzed so the dalton range should penetrate skin. The others maintain lip surface moisture. The product doesn’t start to feel drying until about 4 hours. It’s transfer proof once it sets, provided you don’t apply too much at once.
I like that the formula is thin enough to allow the sunscreen filters to be absorbed, which is how they work. Not sticky. I also applied over an SPF lip balm for more emollients and layered sun protection, since we never know how much product actually constitutes an SPF 50 PA++++ rating. The product still set over lip balm.
I’m cool toned. Shade 02 is a neutral pink and much more MLBB than Paris Pink or Seoul Kiss in MizuMi’s other lip products, which lean warm. Photo is one coat over bare naturally pink lips, allowed to set. -
AngelaloveJuly 21, 2026Love this lip tint with SPF. It's creamy when applied and not overly glossy. It does leave a deep color tint when it dries.
