It really does feel amazing on skin, lightweight and it glides so well. I’m loving the texture and it absorbs fast but leaves you feeling soft!
Once I completely finished my face routine— a simple double cleanse, toner and then this moisturizer, I can just tell how nicely prepped my face would be for makeup and it layering beautifully. No separating between foundation or anything.
My first thought when I tried it was, “It smells good.” It has this faint earthy type of smell that truthfully vaguely reminded me of chocolate lotions, which I really like. However if you’re adverse to scents no worries! Once you spread the lotion the scent completely disperses. It only really lasts a second and you have to really try and sniff to catch it lol
Though I will say I’m not seeing a direct affect of the suppose soothing of redness the niacinamide provides. All the benefits will take time to really see the effects so I unfortunately can’t speak for them.
The packaging is so cute and chic imo and it’s the perfect size to carry in my bag.
Overall I’m excited for if it really does tackle fading blemishes. It’s gentle, does carry that calming hydration it speaks upon and I can see how it can improve redness with all its anti-inflammatory properties.
I’ll check in again in a week or two (if I remember) -
