karysmatiqueGreat formula, shade is a bit off.February 16, 2024I purchased this foundation since YesStyle no longer carries the Everlasting Cushion, and the CoverStay cushion is out of stock in my shade. These have been my holy grails, but I figured I'd give this a try since I loved those products and Pony Effect so much. I've always been a Nude Beige in both of the products; it's a perfect match to my skin color, although some months of the year I can be either lighter or darker but the difference is barely noticeable. It made sense for me to go with Nude Beige for this product, since the other foundation cushions have been so spot on. I really love the formula, the buildability, and how it sits on my skin, but the shade is much lighter than the Nude Beige that I'm used to. The color difference is really obvious and I feel like I look like a clown since my face is lighter than the rest of my body. I'm a bit disappointed and I'm kind of nervous that the Sand Beige is going to be too dark, but given the light-skinned Asian beauty standards, I'm probably overthinking it. Kind of a bummer though, since I paid for a full size bottle, and I'm hesitant to buy yet another bottle without the guarantee that it'll match my skin tone.
