jaspermathe...Finally, a sunscreen I actually enjoy wearing!July 26, 2026okay honestly this sunscreen has been such a nice surprise. i burn super easily so i'm always skeptical, but this one actually held up. i put it on once in the morning, was out in the sun most of the day sweating a lot, and didn't burn at all. that basically never happens for me. i've burned with other sunscreens even when i reapplied constantly (looking at you rohto skin aqua) so the fact that one morning application did the job says a lot. it's kind of thick, but i don't mind it because it has ceramides and it's the only waterproof one i've found. finish is a little shiny and it's super moisturizing, which i love since i use retinol every night and my skin gets dry. no niacinamide in it either, which is actually great for me because i can layer it over my niacinamide serums without any issues. another thing i appreciate is that it doesn't sting my eyes at all, even when i get it on my eyelids. so many sunscreens fail that test. there's a little bit of pilling if you rub too aggressively but it's minor, nothing like the pilling i get from the dry touch western sunscreens. overall i just really like wearing it. it feels good, it protects, and it doesn't have that thick greasy stinging thing going on that makes me dread sunscreen. definitely recommend if you burn easily or just want something that feels nice to wear every day.
