It seems to contain a lot of glycerin and a fair amount of occlusives (vaseline by another name/ other names to be precise) so one of the most effective humectants powered with one of the most effective occlusives. I really enjoy using this and I also think I've noticed some barrier-strengthening effects from the ceramides. And oh at what an affordable price! Will be repurchasing for sure.
