It comes out like a soft lotion type paste and as soon as it comes in contact with water, it ,elts to a super soft and fluffy foam that glides essortlesly on the skin. It's very moisturising and extremely gentle on my sensitive skin. Round lab is my top brand for cleansers and serums and of course I have already purchased a backup ;)
