The shimmers are the standout: they apply smoothly with a finger and confirmed brush, giving a reflective finish without chunky fallout. Mattes blend fairly well, though the deeper shade needs a light hand to avoid patchiness. Pigmentation overall is good, especially for the price point.

I feel like there are endless possibilities for color combos. The mattes are incredible! They don't swatch well but they work magically on the eyes: buildable, blendable and well pigmented. The sparkly shades are best used with a finger and they are very shiny and impactful. I got a lot of compliments for my looks irl.

Mel SolMy favorite palette at the momentJanuary 28, 2026This is my first Shellwe palette and I LOVE it! The packaging is gorgeous and comes in a very secure box. There's many finishes in the shades: mattes that blend easily, a metallic which has a duochrome quality to it (looks green but it shifts to brown) and glitters that do not scratch my lids! Two of the glitters (the blue and the silver) are the same shade as in the pan but the aqua one does have a slight shift to pink or yellow. There's a shade that's sort of a flake-type of glitter that's an odd multi chrome as it goes from orange to reddish to gold depending on the light! Very reflective and nice. All of the shades are pigmented and blend easily! Minimal fallout with the deeper shades; I apply the glitters and the metallic shades with my fingers so I can't comment on how they perform with a brush but I like how impactful they look with how I apply them.
The matte orange and the flake-type glitter do leave a slight pinky stain behind but I don't mind it at all! It's a very gorgeous palette for alternative looks! Very high quality and good for the price! -

the glitters are soft and so shiny.
but the colour story, I love that the most, very creative! i got the mini one and will probably take it with me when i travel. it’s very versatile.
