Keep in mind that it does not provide heavy coverage, it is very sheer. If your skin has noticeable imperfections or dark spots, I don't think it will cover them because of its lightweight formula.

00S00I like the productsOctober 4, 2025I bought both the Shiseido Elixir Day Care Tone Up and the Shiseido Elixir Day Care Revolution. They're both lightweight, layers beautifully on top of each other and with other products which makes them great as base product for makeup. I also have dry combo skin and both helped kept my face hydrated throughout the day w/o leaving my face feeling tight and oily. The Elixir Tone Up is basically a milky pink moisturizing sunscreen that brightens/"tones" my face and keeps it from looking dull. You can get the same effect by using sunscreens that have a brightening effect such as the HADA LABO UV Perfect Gel. The two biggest cons are 1) the price and 2) both products have fragrance so definitely stay alway if you are sensitive. Other than that both are great!
