I have been using the SOME BY MI AHA, BHA, PHA 30 Days Miracle Serum consistently for several weeks now, and my overall experience with it has been completely average. It is neither a terrible product nor a revolutionary one. Given how popular and hyped this serum is throughout the K-beauty community, I went into this purchase expecting noticeable transformations, particularly regarding active acne treatment, pore tightening, and overall skin texture improvement. While it certainly has a few positive attributes that make it pleasant to use daily, the final long-term results leave me feeling quite neutral.
Starting with the pros, the serum features a very lightweight, liquid texture that absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a sticky, greasy, or heavy residue behind. Because it contains tea tree water extract and centella asiatica, it provides a pleasant, immediate soothing and cooling effect as soon as you apply it. It feels very mild on the face and did not cause any initial redness, stinging, or severe purging for me, which makes it safe and suitable for daily routine use even if you have somewhat sensitive skin. Additionally, the subtle herbal tea tree scent is quite clean and refreshing if you enjoy natural skincare fragrances.
However, when it comes to actual performance, the product falls short of its ambitious "miracle" title. The exfoliation provided by the combination of AHA, BHA, and PHA acids is extremely gentle—perhaps a bit too gentle for those with persistent skin concerns. While this mildness successfully prevents irritation and drying out, it also means that the serum takes a very long time to show any visible difference. I did not notice a dramatic reduction in active breakouts, nor did it significantly clear out blackheads or stubborn clogged pores on my nose and chin. My skin texture improved only slightly, mostly in terms of basic surface hydration and minor calming of occasional inflammation.
Another small detail to keep in mind is the dual-phase formula. You have to shake the bottle thoroughly before every application to mix the oil layer and water layer together properly. While this is not a major issue, it can be slightly inconvenient when you are rushing through a quick morning routine. Furthermore, because of the lightweight oil content, it might feel slightly too shiny for extremely oily skin types during hot summer months, yet not rich enough for dry skin types without layering a heavier moisturizer directly on top.
