The clear color is the best and feels the most seamless and smooth in formula and appearance compared to the red. It honestly feels similar to a thin lip mask or lip oil. It has the most perfect gloss and actually mositurizes my lips well unlike most spf lip balms (especially wayyyy better than the rohto ones....). I can layer this well on top of my other lippies. I will reorder this time and time again
