I have EXTREMELY sensitive eyes and downturned lashes that most western mascaras weigh down. This mascara kept my lashes curled and up all day. It is a bit more lenghtening mascara than volumizing in my opinion. The formula is not too wet nor dry. In combination with shiseido lash curler my lashes stayed up all day - which never happened before!! It also didn't smudge at all which is great because I have oily eyelids.

I got accidentally into a swimming pool and it was intact afterwards, not that I read it was waterproof or anything but it takes a little to get removed which is great for me
