It has a runny texture since it's a serum-in-lotion type. This texture also makes it really easy to use S it's faster to apply than heavier creams. It also has a slight tone up effect, since it has a pink tint to it. I've noticed my general skin tone brighten up after consistent use. However, if you want more dramatic results or to tackle stubborn hyperpigmentation in specific areas, I’d suggest to go for a concentrated serum!
