nikkiSmells like a spa & hydrating, lightweight textureAugust 13, 2026Love it. I'm judging this as a brightening lotion with a small boost of UV protection, not as a dedicated spf. The sun protection is just okay, spf 24, and PA+++ is just a PPD of ~8-15. Most countries recommend a bare minimum of spf 30 for everyday use. And, compared to the legal bare minimum of PPD 20 for ANY european spf 50+ sunscreen, this is by no means a heavy duty or high protection sunscreen. But if you loathe the feeling and texture of sunscreen and want something that feels exactly like a lotion while practicing other protective habits (clothing, shade, avoiding midday sun), this is it. Keep in mind— you could use a higher protection spf, but if the texture is horrid, you WON'T consistently apply the right amount and consequently won't get the protection stated on the label anyway. The best sunscreen truly is the one you actually use. I noticed my skin smoothed and evened out considerably while I used this too. The smell is perfect; the best way I can describe it is watery and floral. Exactly like a spa. It's so incredibly light, you won't notice the scent once it dries down. I found I preferred Skin Aqua's moisture *barrier* gel for a body spf since it's a similar (slightly heavier) texture and much higher protection, but for affordability, scent, and just a bit of protection, I think this is a great choice. And the packaging is so cute!
