koquito92GREAT primer but AWFUL SETTING MIST!January 26, 2024I purchased BLITHE's mist and essence out of curiosity, and although I have lots of good things to say about the essence, I can't say the same about the mist...
As a primer, this is an excellent product and delivers; makeup lasts longer and the liquid doesn't hurt the skin.
However, this doesn't work as a setting spray mostly because of its ill-designed bottle. For one, the spray is too small and, instead of a mist, it literally SQUIRTS the liquid as if it were a water gun! The first time I attempted to use this, it MELTED my entire foundation because how strong and narrow the spray was! It shot a strong line of liquid into my face and brought down EVERYTHING! Also, it left a RED BURN in my skin precisely due to how strong it was! I tried from then on to apply it somehow over my makeup, using the palm of my hand, just to test its effectiveness as a setting spray, but not only it was impossible through conventional means: it simply didn't...feel any good... It was a chore.
Again, as a primer it's good (because you'll spray it BEFORE putting on makeup, I mean). However, the reason I am rating this thing with only one star is because of its bottle's faulty design that undermines any promise for a good setting mist.
Please, consider looking at other setting sprays instead, and although I did like the primer, you should always consider the bottles and case designs as well, so invest in a good product AND design, and this one had a TERRIBLE design that simply doesn't make the primer aspect any worthier.
