3CE - Dual Effect Blushlighter - 7 Types

It's definitely on the darker, moodier side of blushes, but I found it looks natural since my bare face has pigmentation that gets removed/lessened when using foundation. I purchased shade #Slick, which is a beautiful, clear, cool-toned, bubblegum pink. For context, I am a Bright Winter with neutral-cool undertones and fair-light skin (usually around 19-21 in foundation shades).

I actually already own two other colors of this blush (#What If and #Early Now), but I love the formula so much that I wanted to have all of the cool-toned colors in my collection. I’ve heard polarizing reviews about this product, so perhaps my two cents will help eliminate some confusion about whether or not you’ll like this product.

For the blush itself, I would describe the formula as a powder that isn’t very powdery, if that makes sense. There’s hardly any kickback and it doesn’t look cakey at all on the skin. You can apply a light wash, or you can build it up for a more dramatic flush—however, it’ll never be as dramatic as a hyper-pigmented Western because the pigmentation is more moderate than intense. I would describe the effect on the skin as matte and somewhat sheer, like a watercolor paint.

The highlighter portion has finely milled shimmer, not glitter, and is definitely a bright highlighter if you apply it with your fingertip. However, I like to mix the blush and highlighter together with a soft brush before applying it to my cheeks, which shifts the blush finish from matte to softly radiant. It makes me look so ethereal and softly glowy, especially in the light. The only other product that gives me a similar effect is the Hince True Dimension Glow Cheek blush, but the Hince blush is less pigmented than the 3CE Blushlighter, so it’s not quite the same.

If you’re looking for a highly pigmented blush, this one isn’t for you. It looks very natural and lightly pigmented with the first pass, so you have to build it up a bit if you want a more pigmented look. However, it’s basically impossible to overdo your blush with this product, which I personally find to be a lifesaver because I have blush blindness, haha. I love the 3CE Blushlighters and they’re easily my most used products in my blush collection.

This blush with highlight gives a beautiful, glowing look. The color is very natural and blends easily, perfect for everyday use. I really like how it adds a subtle radiance without looking too heavy

I really like this blush. The color is beautiful and gives a natural, healthy glow to my skin. It blends easily and feels lightweight, not heavy or chalky. The pigmentation is just right—buildable without being overpowering—and it lasts well throughout the day. I’m very happy with it and would definitely recommend it.

Shade slick seems quite sheer and lighter pink than online, however on cheeks it is quite impactful bubblegum pink.

I like this shade and the highlighter but it’s not very pigmented, it’s good for fair skin🤍

Love having a two in one product! The price is on the higher side but you get basically two products. It's a beautiful subtle highlight and a blush. Lazy talk is a neutral pink/peachy color! Not overly pigmented which i much prefer 💫❤️ super fine powder and blurring, love it!!

I will be repurching again, been using it for a while now and even got complimented on my blush 🩷🥹 it blurs the skin nicely and gives such a natural glow, it is also long lasting throughout the day!!
