It is a dupe for a color of another brand I use to love, and the color pay-off is awesome. I love that the formula can be adjusted based on your preference, which is to say, it can first be applied as a creamy/shiny lipstick, or you can dab it with a cotton pad and end up with a matte lip stain. Consistency is very smooth but not sticky, which I appreciate, as I'm not a fan of glosses.
