Christmas and wanted to get something for my daughter to feel fancy too. she is only 4 but I wanted her to feel like she had something her own and special. the colors are cute and I love that there is a nice large mirror. it did not break in shipment which was a concern since I am in the US and some things don’t make the trip whole. the compact does not have a latch or magnet to stay securely closed it just hinges shut but should be ok. overall design is super adorable and it’s perfect for my kuromi loving daughter. If she doesn’t end up using it I certainly will
