I honestly went into the Frankly Closer Pore Reducing Serum expecting another basic, watery toner-adjacent product, but it’s surprisingly substantive. The texture is where it really shines; it’s a bouncy, almost "cookie-dough" plump gel that feels incredibly cooling the second it hits your skin. Unlike most pore-focused treatments that rely on harsh astringents or drying alcohols to "shrink" things, this one uses a massive complex of nine peptides and vegan collagen to basically inflate the skin around your pores so they look less like craters and more like part of a smooth surface. It leaves this healthy, dewy glow—very "glass skin" but without the greasiness—and while it hasn't literally erased my pores (because science), it has definitely smoothed out those annoying little texture bumps and kept my T-zone from looking like a oil slick by midday. It’s become my favorite morning shortcut for looking like I actually got eight hours of sleep and did a full facial, all in about thirty seconds.
