The lipstick in the shade Swordmaiden does have glitter in it HOWEVER, instead of making it look patchy or tacky, it elevates it. The lipstick can be blurred out on the lips as well as being worn as it is. Definitely you can build it up. But you definitely have to have your lips moisturised before applying. This is a matte formula after all. it is not as drying as other matte lipsticks that I own though. very lightweight and doesn’t set into the cracks of your lips. if you eat and or drink, the lipstick disappears beautifully. Bonus points for the smell because it does smell like very powdery roses, which I do like. Also extra points for packaging.

AndreiaS10May 21, 2026First time trying to bullet lipstick format (in matte formula) from GC and I an super fan already. The formula is super smooth, velvety and blurring on the lips and it’s comfortable and non drying the shade itself. The shade is what I like the most- it’s a grayish dusty pink with lots of sparkle that shows up even when applied on the lips.
Packaging is always 10/10 -
EleryLove it!May 19, 2026I got a brown color and i adore it. I don't have this shade of brown and it looks wonderful on. I want to praise the formula. It's hydrating but not too oily. Feels matte when applying but it smooths out the lips and keeps them moist.

The lipstick itself has a smooth formula that glides on comfortably and gives a soft, flattering finish. The shade is beautiful and adds enough color without being overwhelming. The formula is soft, almost mousse-like, gliding on easily.
Feels lightweight, like it disappears into your lips. Isn't drying, which with my dry lips is super important!

cmel555...Love the formulaApril 26, 2026The color is reaally pretty, I especially love S9, I also got a few glittery ones (S10 and S12), but the glitters didn't really show up and the colors were a bit off, so that's a bit disappointing. Overall it's a nice lipstick, I recommend it if you don't mind the strong rose fragrance.
