IreneFavorite Mineral Sunscreen I've Tried!July 4, 2026After a month and a half of using, I'd say it's probably the best mineral sunscreen I've tried! It's lightweight for a mineral sunscreen; after applying and letting it sit into my skin it feels unnoticable and it doesn't leave a white cast, but I'm lightskined so I can't speak from the perspective of someone with more melanin.
It performs really well with makeup. It doesn't pill throughout the day, and it's currently summer where I am. I would say it's a satin to matte finish. To some with dryer skin than me it could feel dry. I have combination and I prefer to wear it with a hydrating toner underneath. I don't find that it irritates my eyes. It doesn't seem to have any kind of strong sent, sunscreen or otherwise. Overall, I've really enjoyed using it. -

Initially, I was too eager and applied too much (FYI, this is the first time I use retinol/retinaldehyde on my eyes), and had some mild allergic reactions on my eyelids. So I stopped using it tt for about 2 weeks. After that I slowed phased it in - 2 times a week in the first week, and then 3 times a week and gradually worked up to daily use. With patience, it works very nicely this time! It gradually improves my skin texture and uneven
skintones.
Bonus: I also use this "eye serum" on the rest of my face, and it works beautifully too!!!
