Taylor SilvaSerum-like textureJuly 17, 2026This really does have a serum-like texture. It truly does dispense rather runny. I love it. The rougher, folded, more active and moving areas of your body and skin are more likely to "deposit" and rough up the physical filters in this sunscreen and become noticeable.
Also, will say, it is obnoxiously greasy. The accompanying sunstick is as well. It does improve the longer it has to dry and the filters finally set but it doesn't fully go away...but that's okay because obviously this isn't meant to be a graceful everyday wear sunscreen as we know.
Wear this if you're working and going to be sweating in 90°+ degree westher. Wear this if you're going swimming!! I used this for kayaking and it was PERFECT! I HAD ABSOLUTELY no redness and NO sign whatsoever of any sort of tanning. It didn't aggravated my eyes at all! I really love the feel of it in general despite the general greasiness.
The greasiness doesn't say anything about the moisture or ability of this sunscreen to hydrate btw. Like it still dries out the skin after awhile, ESPECIALLY hands. But these are the only complaints I have.

9284738Use it for its intended purpose lolJune 26, 2026So I bought this because I liked the UV filters in it, and I thought it may be a good way to save money on face sunscreens.
Don't do that lol. It's very runny and liquidy and above all, very greasy. I have mixed skin with cheeks that tend towards dryness thanks to azelaic acid + retinal, and ooh boy, I was comparable to using old style, heavy Western body sunscreens. It wasn't a dewy look, it's straight up greasy.
I'm praying I won't breakout from this negl. Something tells me double cleansing will be necessary with this one.
That said, it's a great body sunscreen. Absorbs, doesn't pill, does looks shiny but it's more nourishing on body skin. It forms an uniform film that reminds me a bit of Anessa's "self repairing" technology. Makes me feel protected.
I'll update my review as I use it more. Tl;Dr, don't use it on your face haha. -

This is comfortable on the face, doesn't burn and has no cast However it just sits on top of the skin and does not dry down. It also stays pretty shiny, and leaves oily streaks when anything touches your skin.
