When I am trying to remove makeup back then, it always leaves a residual layer that can't be removed by just your typical face wash, and when I saw that this product actually somewhat fully removes them, I have been a fan since. Reminder though, use sparingly and don't over apply or rub in, especially for those with oily skin types.

I have to say that I rarely wear makeup, so I can’t really comment on how effective it is at removing makeup. I use it as the first step in my cleansing routine when I have sunscreen on my face. It has a velvety texture, melts quickly on the skin, and I leave it on for about 10 minutes as a mask because it contains really good ingredients, so it would be a shame to rinse it off right away. After I rinse it off, my skin feels very soft. And yes, it has a mild fig scent.
