cloudberryReliable hair dyeSeptember 29, 2025I've been using Liese (formerly Prettia) bubble hair dye for over a decade now, and it's been reliable and relatively inexpensive (if you can get them on sale). Liese bubble dyes are easy to use as they're a foam type and not a gel or liquid, and it's so much easier to get even coverage with this. It also works really well with my Asian hair and doesn't damage my hair terribly. This does not dye silver/white hairs, so if you have those and want those covered, this won't do it.
I bought the Cool Pink shade. I forgot to take a photo of the result (I used it a few months ago), but it brought a nice deep pinkish tone to my dyed brown hair so it was closer to the cool chocolate shade I was looking for. Due to my hair's condition I think the color faded a little quickly this time, but it was nice while it lasted.
Liese hair dyes tend to fade quickly on my hair, depending on the shade. They do last a good amount of time and are generally accurate to the shade on the box (with reference to what your original color was). -

lillycitron ash + milk tea brownAugust 26, 2025I used the milk tea brown colour of this dye over a year ago and it worked amazing, as you can see in the first pic the colour lasted a year although it did wash out a little bit the lightening affect still stayed. I repurchased this time in citron ash and again it worked very well. my roots and ends were different colours but still ended up the same colour. I will say though that unless you have naturally cool toned hair it will come out a little bit more reddish/warm toned, but it’s not very noticeable. the instructions are in Japanese so I used google translate.
you add the little black bottle to the big bottle, put the lid back on and flip over 5 times (don’t shake!) then put the squeeze lid on and apply. it says to leave for 30 mins but I’d say 40 if you have darker hair initially. it comes with gloves and a conditioner, and is easy to apply without any other equipment. it didn’t dry out my hair at all and it felt healthier after. during the process the dye looked yellowish to green by the end but don’t worry your hair won’t turn green! I was a bit afraid because it’s my first time dying my hair myself I had dark brown hair with some highlights and my grown roots are black and I wanted my whole hair to be the same color , I picked the color Airy Greige, the application is pretty easy I got two boxes I thought one won’t be enough but it surprisingly was, I have long hair it reaches down my back. I was afraid of having hot roots so I started applying the dye from my ends going up to my roots and left it on for 30 minutes. it turned out great dyed pretty evenly and looks just like how the back of the box says it would. I for sure going to use it again.
