It removes even the most waterproof make up and does not leave my skin to feeling stripped afterwards. With water, it emulsifies nicely and does not irritate or leave my eyes clouded. I like to follow up with a gentle foam cleanser, and the combination works perfectly for my use case. I also really like that it comes with an option to refill with a pouch! I also have a travel size bottle so that I can take this with me when I am not at home.
