Finishes matte to dry with no residue. Slightly drying. No color (chemical sunscreen). Very light soap scent - must be the chemical that makes it waterproof. I use it mostly on my neck and hands because it doesn’t rub off on anything. Ever.
I have somewhat sensitive skin and this has not been problematic. Reapply does not cause any pilling.

Edwin GalvezAMAZING or everyday use, gym & running sessions.March 5, 2026I have an oily t-zone and my cheeks are normal but it leans more to oily. I have a sensitive skin, especially neck area when shaving/trimming and is prone to razor bumps and acne. Everyday I use azelaic acid in the AM and 1% tretinoin at night.
I have been looking for a sunscreen that does not give me a shiny look and does not burn my eyes, or at least, doesn't burn my eyes as much, leaves no cast and is SPF 50+. AND I THINK I FOUND IT.
It does have a hint of that alcohol smell but it is not overpowering and I barely notice it now. It is creamy, not like the super water gel of nviea but slightly thicker. It goes on so smooth and easy. At first it does leave a shine but then it becomes so much more subdued. I would call it a matte finish with a hint of glow. It actually gets me to reapply throughout the day because the shine isn't as aggressive as other products. Bought 3 more!
In the AM, I rinse with water, apply a bit of iunik beta-glucan moisturizer, TO azelaic acid to face/neck, moisturize again then sunscreen after a few minutes.
In PM, gentle face wash cycling between 2% salicylic acid every few days (both cerave brand), a pearl size amount of moisturizer, then tretinoin and finish off with moisturizer.
No break outs, or redness that I notice but I am colorblind/color-deficient so I wouldn't notice it lol. -
