yesterday kinda changed all of that, I found some blotting paper by ecotools for a couple bucks, on clearance, and after a days work and using novo in the midst of that I got home and wanted to try ecotools version and compare.
both are green but ecotools is larger and a bit thicker plus made with plant derivatives, as they claim.
I loved the results after, ecotools did a better job absorbing the excess oils while truly matifying and preserving my makeup. It was like a very light layer of powder was dusted across my skin as if I just applied my makeup. I didn’t feel dried out or looked ashy on my dark complexion.
In comparison to novo, where it soaks up the excess oil but due to it size I feel like I need more. Some shine would go away when my oils aren’t excessive but on either occasion there would be no matifying happening.
Sadly, I think my new discovery isn’t going to be available anymore so I’ll keep looking for that effect and won’t repurchase novo.
