2 turned out to be dried out and crumbly and 3 just went on smoothly.
If the pencil isn't dried out, it's a great product. Goes on smoothly and stays on. Even with vigorous rubbing product stays on.
(The first one I opened was so dry that it felt like hard plastic. And I couldn't get color transferred onto skin, no matter what i did.
I went to process a return, but out of curiosity I opened the second. It went on beautifully with minimal pressure.
I opened the remaining boxes and one other was the same as the first...just trash -

My only issue is that I think this would work best for someone who has the technique and knows how to use eye-liners. For me, it smudges after a few hours of application
